Sweet Sisu

Sisu
September ? 1980 - June 19, 2008

Today our sweet beloved Sisu crossed over the Rainbow Bridge; her mighty spirit was too big for her tiny body, and has been released. Farewell sweet girl, travel well, you will be missed by all of us.

  1. I’m glad I got a chance to meet Sisu…you and Ann are in my thoughts today, and I hope that my sweet Scooter, who crossed over three years ago, is there to show her all the fun places to nap.

  2. I am also glad that I had a chance to meet Sisu. She was a sweet and curious kitty, even in her very old age. I know you’ll miss her.

  7. As someone who is 49 and has had those wonderful additional family members all my life. I truly feel your pain. I’m not sure what you believe in but I like to think that our pets are with us for all time and looking out for us. My prayers are with you all.

  10. I love cats whose characters are as big as the room. Sisu was one of those. So glad I got to meet her and that she spent a good long time on this earth. Maybe she and my Sylvester, who lived nearly as long, are at the Rainbow Bridge glaring balefully at each other. :)

  12. I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Every time I have had to put down a cat, it has cracked my heart into. So I know the pain you are feeling now. I hope that soon you will feel only the warm memories of the wonderful 18 years you had together.

I agree with Mary. I have to take to bed when this happens and just cry and cry and cry. Tears are cleansing for the spirit and soul.

    Hugs,

  16. Thank yous, to ALL who posted their thoughts, remembrances and condolences…… it really was helpful, beyond words. Now that I’m getting my act together a little more thinking about her, I’m planning on doing another post, soon, with some more pictures and fond memories. We have alot of them.
