I love working with mixed media in my jewelry, beads, fibers, metals, found objects. Woven, spun, unspun, twisted, twined, knotted, netted, knitted, crochet and whatever other way I can come up with to 'mix' my work. In recent creative endeavors I've played with coated, colored telephone wire - which I wove up using off-loom weaving techniques and then molding into a myriad of shapes. The pin to the right was one of the first of these experiments, I finger-wove the telephone wire as part of a memorial weaving project for a dear online friend that passed on in 1996.
